THE HOUSE

The Retreat House at Taylor Maid Farms is situated at the of a ridge top in west Sonoma County. Encircled by orchards of meyer lemon trees and fields of flowers, this earthen chic farmhouse has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, two living spaces, an office, custom farm kitchen and gorgeous wrap-around patios. The balcony offers views of the gardens as well as a peak at the mighty blue Pacific. 

THE LAND

The Retreat House is perched at the top of a 108 acre parcel of native Pomo land. 10 of these acres have been cultivated with gardens, orchards, herbs, and green houses. The rest is wild forests of oak, redwoods and fir trees. The land is adored by birdsong, hawk flight, sunsets and spirit. It's nothing less than spectacular.

THE SURROUNDINGS

In all directions there are meandering roads into quaint small towns, all offering their own charm and flavors. Occidental is one of these towns that boasts fantastic eats and markets to serve all of your needs. The beach is just 5 miles by the way the crow flies and 20 minutes to the east you will find Sebastopol, a fast changing hip enclave of breweries, boutiques and a bustling downtown.
