   WANDER WESTWARD

The Lotus Feed Regenerates in 2020

The Lotus Feed is returning with a new offering known as The West County Jaunt.  The West County Jaunt is the perfect capsule to hold the space for community participation and culture. Whether your community gathers on mats, or in a board room, The WCJ will receive, lodge and feed your colleagues with small-town hospitality and elevated nuance. This immersion highlights the best-kept secrets and charm of West Sonoma County.

The West County Jaunt weaves all of our creative endeavors (The FarmThe Lodge, The Studio, The General Store) into one cohesive experience that highlights what Sonoma's West County is all about.

Here is what the West County Jaunt looks like

Sunday morning can also be spent in town, at The Studio and dining at The Sitting Room. Guests can and have some time to swim at the Lodge pool and explore the town and surrounding areas. Within The Altamont General Store, there is a ceramics school and an opportunity to work clay into your program.  The ocean and the Russian River are just 15 minutes from Occidental and there are countless wineries and tasting rooms in every direction. A fourth and fifth day can be added onto the itinerary and this model can be applied to longer learning sessions such as teacher trainings and ongoing courses.

Hosts can also choose to remain In town for the whole weekend. We can offer our In Town package year-round and are happy to work with pricing for longer stays that would be more appropriate for a teacher training or ongoing workshops. We will work with the host to design the perfect West County conclave for their business and offerings.
